Using Chronology to Beat Stress & Achieve Peak Performance Management:  20.10.09
 

Are you a morning person or a night owl, Can you change this, or better yet should you even try? These are the kind of questions that came to our minds as Dr. Felix Fluck introduced to us the concept of using our natural body rhythm to identify and capitalize on energy flow. We self-divided into chronology types in an interactive exercise designed to help each one of us reflect on our own unique energy patterns. For example, if you were to wake up and go to bed naturally, at what time would that happen, and based on that when would you have the sharpest mind, the most energy? On the other hand when SHOULD you take a break, and how (sleep, run, eat or skip a meal?) to regain some of that energy later on in the day. It's always time well spent, when self-reflection continues past a presentation that lasts only forty five minutes, that was Dr. Fluck's goal and he achieved it very well. The evening continued on, well paced, with plenty of opportunity to have a conversation and get to know many of the newcomers to our group. It was a perfect antidote to a busy day at work.
