PWG held its AGM on 20.03.09 at the Marriott Hotel. Jill Allemang, PWG president, moderated the AGM. We discussed the achievements of 2008, looked forward to the strategic priorities for 2009 and passed several resolutions, relating to the running of the group. Thanks and chocolates were presented to Lisbeth Monéton, who retired from her role as Newcomers Manager. Thanks were also expressed to Barbara Schaerz, stepping down as Treasurer, who was not present, but who had worked hard to close the books for 2008. Thanks were also given to supporters for the Executive Committee, who had all undertaken work and projects during the year –Aurorita Hunziker, Tabea Blatter, Vickie Watts. We welcomed several new and returning members and as the photos show, networking was the order of the evening!
